Temperature Difference Study:
Three temperature wireless data loggers are used to measure the temperature at different sections of Hotel B; Outside; Inside without KristalBond coating; Inside with KristalBond coating.
The devices are placed on the west side of Hotel B where it is the hottest.
Outside: On a fair weather day in Malaysia, the average temperature outside Hotel B ranges from 36°C - 40°C
Non-coatedglass: Inside Hotel B, with air-conditioning the temperature drops ±6°C but fluctuates between 32°C - 28°C following the similar pattern of the temparature outside.
KristalBond coated glass: With KristalBond coating, the temperature inside Hotel B is further reduced to a consistent 25°C and remains stabilized (according to air-conditioning temperature setting).
